Rome, Italy
Campo de' Fiori
In a lively little square, tucked away in a corner is this fantastic pizza and bakery. Authentic Roman style pizza with so many options to choose from, the only thing I regretted was not making it here twice.
They slice the pizza based on how large a slice you want and charge by the pound, the pizza was reasonably priced. We tried several varieties, my favorite was the eggplant which was so thin and barely detectable but so utterly delicious.
The bakery items looked fantastic, but we were there for the pizza and did not leave disappointed. -

We walked into this place and found it pleasantly empty, so we were in and out, pizza slices in hand, in seconds. I went with a really simple slice that could have been boring but because it was PERFECTLY executed -- a crispy crust, thinly sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, actually enough salt on all of it -- it was just amazing! Go here for sure!

If I could eat pizza from Forno Campo de' Fiori everyday I would! I started every morning in Rome with a quick breakfast here! Their options would change daily so I always ordered something different! My favorite was the pizza Rossa for sure. Thanks to @nancysilverton for the recommendation!!

A fast-moving Italian bakery that serves fresh, hand-cut pizza squares and panini.
If you're not in the mood for pasta or a sit-down lunch, I'd highly recommend Forno Campo De' Fiori. Watch out though--the pizza is greasy as it should be, and requires a large bundle of napkins.
I ordered a porcini mushroom pizza with white sauce, which was good, but I regret not ordering a sampling of pizza slices. My fiancé's mushroom pizza with red sauce was fabulous: thin, crispy crust, light tomato coating, then cheese and button mushroom.
We enjoyed it all the more by perching ourselves on the sunny side of a fountain out front and watching the busyness of the outdoor market.
